Check-Points is a privately owned diagnostics company founded in 2002 based in Wageningen, The Netherlands.

We focus on the development and commercialization of a new generation of molecular diagnostic solutions for specific routine applications in clinics, institutes and companies. Our proprietary microarray-based assay allows for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of up to 100 specific DNA markers.

Check-Points is the first to introduce a range of rapid molecular assays for the detection of Gram-negative antibiotic resistance with excellent sensitivity and specificity for carbapenemases, AmpC and ESBL. Rapid and accurate confirmation of antibiotic resistance is crucial for optimal patient treatment and infection control.

The Premi® Test Salmonella allows for fast and reliable routine molecular serotyping of Salmonella in both reference institutes and food companies. Serotyping of Salmonella has proven to be essential in any Salmonella reduction program.
